  • Food and drink are to be left outside the library.
  • Remember that the library is a quiet place; please be considerate of other students and follow school rules inside.
  • Please use a shelf marker which helps maintain the order of the books.

Library Book Checkout

  • Students should have their school ID cards for checkout. ID/Library cards are to remain on campus during the school year. Lost card results in 1 book checkout.
  • Students in TK and Kinder grades are allowed to check out one book; students in 1st–6th grades may check out one or two books at the teacher’s discretion.

Lost or Damaged Items

  • An item is considered damaged if it has torn or missing pages, water damage, writing on pages or cover, missing labels, etc., items that are not fit to be checked out.
  • Students with lost or overdue books must clear their accounts before resuming book check out.
  • Damage fees up to the replacement cost of the book may be charged for any deliberate damage.
  • If the lost item(s) are found, students are encouraged to return them as quickly as possible.
  • All item accounts must be cleared by the end of the school year.

Technology Checkout

  • TK - 6th grade students will have iPads checked out directly to them in August. iPads and accessories must be returned in good condition in May.
  • Students with tech problems should fill out a Tech Ticket (Student Repair Form link is on iPads). Students will be called from class to get iPads repaired.
  • iPads with severe damage should be brought to the MC. Students and parents will fill out a damage report and the cost of repair will be communicated.
  • Lost iPads should be reported immediately.
